The TUFS Asian Language Parallel Corpus (TALPCo) is an open parallel corpus consisting of Japanese, Korean, Burmese (Myanmar), Malay, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese and English. TALPCo is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
- My Changes
- I standardized the English text to American English. Most of the corpus was already that way.
- I converted the English sentences to use contractions, so the audio files would sound more conversational.
- I retranslated some of the Japanese into different English sentences.
- I removed spaces from the Japanese text and edited some of the Japanese.
