I've been experimenting with the COEIROINK Text-to-Speech (TTS) voices.
While TTS may not be the best way to study a foreign language, I've followed the following guidelines for myself.
I only used Japanese sentences from the Tatoeba Corpus that were owned by native Japanese speakers, so the sentences should be trustworthy.
After generating the TTS audio, I threw out all those that sounded wrong to me before creating the videos. (I may have missed a few bad ones, though, so be careful as you should always be with TTS, not only my videos, but a lot of other videos on YouTube.)
I make it very clear that these are not real human speakers, unlike a number of language study videos on YouTube. I am not trying to deceive you.
In addition to using various TTS voices, I've used various Japanese fonts.
